Barnewolt & Barnewolt Chiropractic is open for business.
The husband-wife team of Barnewolt & Barnewolt Chiropractic is now open and serving the Peoria area. Drs. Katherine E. and Joshua A. Barnewolt graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic last year in October and are both excited to be accepting new patients out of the Zinser Chiropractic Clinic in Kickapoo, IL. Both Dr. Katie and Dr. Josh grew up in the small town of Kickapoo, situated five minutes west of Peoria on I-74 or Rt. 150. Before becoming a Chiropractor, Dr. Katie, daughter of 30+ year veteran Peoria Chiropractor Dr. Robert R. Zinser, graduated from Bradley University with a Bachelor’s in Education. While teaching in district 150, she earned a Masters in Education from St. Xavier, Chicago. She was featured on the Peoria Journal Star front page for her collaboration with the Illinois Math and Science Institute in advancing District 150's Math and Science programs. In practice, she has a special interest in pediatric care and family wellness. Before becoming a Chiropractor, Dr. Josh was a Financial Advisor and majored in Business Administration. He also went to ICC for Architecture and Construction Management. Dr. Josh spent 7 Years in the Army National Guard, 1 of which he spent oversees after the tragedy of 9-11. He has a special interest in sports therapy and family wellness. As well as offering traditional techniques in Chiropractic, Dr. Josh also offers a low-force technique known as Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT). Call them today for your free consultation.
